"Corey Pronman, The Athletic's prospect guru, was sure enough of Elvenes's breakout campaign to vault him past 2017 first-rounders, Nick Suzuki and Erik Brannstrom, in his recent assessment of the Vegas farm system. Elvenes was Pronman's runner-up to Cody Glass for top Golden Knights prospect."

Can anyone confirm if this is a reasonable assessment? It's exceedingly rare for a 5th round pick's stock to rise above two 1st rounders in just over a year. I was under the impression that Suzuki and Brannstrom were still excellent prospects. Is that no longer the case or did Elvenes just have that amazing of a season?
